TGIF
First things first, it's already March 8th here.
Happy International Women's Day to all empowering and wonderful women all over the world!
Today's Friday, I suppose to have a morning class today,
But last night my friend told me that there'll be no class due to our Data Management lecture is still out of town, and she's not sure that she could make it here on time.
So here I am, trying to type something on my blog, like I've promised myself before.
I woke up this morning feeling a little bit gloomy,
My back lower left gum hurts, and it's somewhat swollen now.
The pain doesn't appear frequently (Thank God, or else I'd feel like it's killing me slowly),
but it sure is annoying especially when I move my jaw, talk, and it hurts mostly whenever I ear, chew, or swallow food.
So I've to tilt my head a little bit, using only my right jaw to chew food, so it won't hurt that bad.
My dorm mates think I might have wisdom teeth growing so that's why my gum hurts.
That's why I'm about to leave my dorm to visit a dentist this morning.
I'm hoping it is only my wisdom teeth, not the other dental problem worse than it. (Please, don't let it be impacted teeth.)
Catch y'all later!
Sinceramente,
M-

Type A Lot Monday
On another note, I can't believe it's March already! Time really goes fast when we don't even realize about it all. Flashing back some memories from last year, I notice that 2012 wasn't really a best year for me. I wasn't that productive last year, I didn't join a lot of competitions or any other activities as much as I did back when I was a 10-11 grader. National examination indeed was one of the reason why I wasn't able to join more competitions and engaged to a bunch of activities like I used to. Months of hectic pre-University preparation could also be counted as another reason. Yes, I am a university student now. I got into Telkom Institute of Management (IM Telkom), not to be confused with Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom, previously called STT Telkom) which I'm taking ICT Business Management (Manajemen Bisnis Telekomunikasi dan Informatika) as my major. Having to pursue a higher academic level is forcing me to step out of my comfortable zone, I've to move to another city and started to live alone faraway from my family, which is way tougher than I thought It was. It wasn't easy at first, truth be told it is still not easy for me though I've been living here for about 6 months, but I'm trying my best not to let this become such a burden and barrier for me to pursue my bachelor degree here.
Back to the topic, I'm glad I was able to finally compete on my very first 2012 competition last November. It was an English competition for newbies in our campus, which was held by our university's English club (SEF IM Telkom). I was joining debate competition with one of my classmate, Another classmate of mine was also joining the competition, but she was competing in story telling. We came up as 2nd runner-up on both competitions. I personally think that it was not bad, considering that was the first time I compete in British parliamentary system debate, which I, myself believe that BP is way more stressful because there are only two speakers, and 15 minutes of case building time, completely different compared to 3-speakers-in-one-team debating system like Asian or Australs. For this year, I was really lucky to be chosen as one of IMT's debating team for 2013 ALSA E-Challenge Unpad which I promise to tell you more about this event later on my upcoming entries... (yes, this is how I'm tricking myself to post more entry on this blog, hopefully it works this time.)

hullo!
which is kinda shameful buat saya sekarang ngebacanya (baca: alay)
setelah bertahun-tahun saya jadi blogger (baca: passive blogger)finally saya nyadar kalo apa yang saya tulis selama ini terlalu "light."
bukan sesuatu yang IMO penting banget ada di sebuah blog.
so If I could, I'd promise myself that I'm gonna write something "that might be worth it" next time.
yep, my last post was published on 27 November 2010. *passive banget kan ya?*
setahun lalu, saya masih ingat ada kejadian yang truly unbelievable, yet shaking.
not that I lost any of my family, but let's just say: I lost a dream, my biggest dream that year in a very uncomfortable way. and I don't wanna talk about it anymore...
setahun yang lalu, saya masih kelas 11, dan sekarang saya udah di kelas 12. yang artinya:
1. practical exams (dunno what it's actually called in English, but it's ujian praktik in Indonesian) are coming in less than a month (sekitar 2 minggu lagi!)
and
2. national examination is coming in less than 3 months.
and
3. SNMPTN and other university entrance test are coming all the way. All those big stuffs are coming one by one, and I haven't decided the next steps, like what Uni I'm gonna pursue my study at, even worst I haven't make sure what major I'm gonna take in Uni. I wish I could decide EVERYTHING as soon as possible, but it looks like I'm a kind of person who take too long when deciding what should I do. *Really, it's proven, My Aptitude and Fingerprint tests said the same thing.* oh, anyway, I'm changing my blog url, it's no longer thatgreenadolescent.blogspot.com, it's magnaliafelly.blogspot.com now. because my teacher asked us to change our blog name to our real name, so that he can give us some score for blogging lesson. that's all, it's 12:14 am now, gotta go to bed so I won't be late for school this morning. catch y'all later. xoxo

Have you....?
Have you ever been in the hardest part of your life?
The time when everything’s nothing but ruin, chaos, and trouble?
The time when a thing you need is dream?
The time when you don’t wanna wake up,
Because you believe that nightmare is just a nightmare and that shouldn’t be true at all.
But then you realized something, you realized that It’s true. It’s not a nightmare, it’s a truth.
Truth that you’ve to face It with wide arms open.
A hurtful truth and you’ve to accept It.
Time ticking still….
And your life goes on…
With a hurt scar in your life…
A scar that left by the truth…
Have you ever been in the sickest point of your life?
The time when all you wanna do is forgetting thing
The time when you’ve to throw away a dreadful memory
The time when you’re ready to face a new “life”, with your past left away
But then you realize something,
You realize that people around you keep talking about that truth.
People around you keep on talking, and talking about one thing.
Thing that you really need to left,
Thing that you really need to throw away,
Thing that you really need to forget about,
And then you’re getting sick enough to hear that thing.
And then you’re getting sick to hear everything.
And then you’re wondering if you could die for a moment.
At least until people stop talking about thing that might be joyful for them.
But hurtful, dreadful, pitiful, and sorrowful for me.

I am ..........
For God Sake, I'm TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED to know that I've been beaten by "1-2 minute only arguments" debaters. *Really, not to skeptic at them, but yes, they're talking for only 1-2 minutes, or at least 6 minutes only, not 8 minutes*
I never blame the chief adjudicator - Not At All, there's nothing wrong with him.
I blame the newest system that used this year.
I blame the tourney system that doesn't really appropriate to be used in that provincial selection.
I blame the silly match-up.
I blame the local adjudicators who DON'T KNOW HOW TO ADJUDICATE A DEBATE.
I'm disappointed that our city team could only win the first champion, but there's only one speaker from our team that could represent my province to NSDC next year.
I'm lost.
I'm failed.
I'm trauma.
I'm ashamed.
I'm speechless.
I'm disappointed.
But I won't let myself to stop debate at all.
I've been debating for about a year.
I won't stop my debating career for those reasons only.
But at least for now, I really need a time to recover from my disappointment.
